A timely reminder, as the grass cutting season comes to an end, to reflect on how well the village grass verges are kept in check. Whilst a few people traditionally chose to cut the grass verge outside their own house, the vast majority are mown and trimmed by local resident Mike Gore on behalf of the Parish Council.
He cuts a mean figure and regularly receives compliments in particular for the frequent strimming that he carries out, which makes all the difference.
Well done Mike for a job well done!
